Elections!!!

On November 1, 2007, the Secular Humanists on Campus will vote for their official officers in concordance with the constitution. As of now, all positions are uncontested, but that doesn't mean your vote doesn't count... maybe it doesn't, but come anyway because we always have fun chatting and I need to address how you can be a part of everything we're doing.

Wall Of Oppression: The building of the wall
Location: LWCC Yard
The Writing on the Wall project serves as a shared experience of taking personal action to confront oppressive behavior and elements in our society through the act of literally constructing a wall representing our oppression of others throughout human history – and tearing down this structure -  we will be reminded of the need to act and personally experience the power to create positive change for the future.

Participants will be encouraged to write and/or mark on the wall, a moment in their own experience or in our collective history, an act of discrimination, an outrage, a crime or an act of inhumanity. They will paint or write this act on the Wall of Oppression. This monument will be erected on campus so we remember and witness the writing on the wall.
